This document is part roadmap, part design doc, part FAQ. Not all of my plans are explained here, but hopefully this will provide an easy and transparent reference for anyone curious about some specific aspect of the game.
I plan to update this on a regular basis. Streets of Rogue is a game that thrives on player input, so feel free to provide feedback on any of this.
And please note that anything you see here is subject to change, this is by no means a finalized design!
**✅** Completed, or mostly completed with bugs and/or balance issues existing. May receive additional work at some point, but likely won’t be prioritized until other aspects of the game are in a more completed state.
🔄 Ongoing Efforts. These will continue to receive attention throughout SOR2’s development.
🛠️ Partially done and already in-game. This is a fairly broad category, as it comprises everything that’s currently in the game and functioning but I don’t consider to be in ideal shape.
🔜 In Development, not yet in-game. These items have been coded to some extent, but haven’t been integrated into the game such that they’re visible to players.
⏰ Planned. These items have been elevated above “idea I had”, and will most likely be added to the game. Though their current existence is limited to the pages of my design docs.
